About this blog

I started this blog way back when I was working in the Financial Services industry, specializing primarily in Active Directory and the technologies associated with it. A lot has changed since then.

I became a PowerShell MVP in 2013, joined Microsoft as a Contract Staff resource in 2014 and became a Microsoft FTE in 2016, which meant concluding 3 years as an MVP,  but achieving what I always set out to do with my career – work at Microsoft.

This blog has captured some of my IT journey, though I have not been as disciplined in blogging as I would have liked. I am working on picking that up again.

While the primary theme of this blog will continue to be technology focused, I have a couple of other things I would like to blog about in the future. I am raising a child who is somewhere on the Autism spectrum (we are still determining where). Also, I have a speech impediment that I have been developing my career in spite of, and working on improving for the last 20 years.

I feel those experiences may be helpful to others out there so I would like to share those where possible.

At Microsoft, I am a consultant in the services division. I’m in the Secure Infrastructure domain which covers pretty much all enterprise Microsoft products. More recently I am into the SecDevOps and Cyber Security space, so expect content around that.

If you would like to find out more about me, please reach me on LinkedIn, but be aware that I do not accept any random connection requests without context, so, send me a message first, lets chat.
